If you played here - any era, any name - post in this thread. The handle you used, roughly when you were around, and anything you still remember.

That's the whole ask. There's no server running and nothing I can promise. I just wanted somewhere for people to turn up again, in case anyone still types this domain in at 2am.

Wasn't sure the domain would still work. Tried it at about 2am the other night on a whim.

Still remember the last time up north — four of us, no plan, just driving because there was nothing left to do. Nobody said it, but we all knew.

Doc_Mallory, glad you are okay. I was on the hill above Green Mountain that February when it snowed, alone, and I remember the lights below. It was quiet, the way the north is quiet. Good to see this thread.

VLK — good to hear from you, and glad you remember the quiet like that. That February, I still think about the fog up at Green Mountain and the tower humming the whole time, even in it. Some nights I still half-listen for that hum. I stlil have the log from those years — every blood type, every name I could write down. It's in a drawer here, not far from the desk.

tempted_, good that the domain still works. I have been wondering again about the man at the crossroads. Did you ever see his name in the logs?

VLK — I never caught his name. I went through the log a few times looking for it and the entry just isn't htere, or it's one of the ones I wrote in pencil and the pencil faded. hWat I do remember from that last stretch is the single can of beans sitting in the middle of the raided base — somebody kept it, nobody said why. That's the kind of thing the qiuet year left behind. stay safe out there

Doc_Mallory, the pencil fading sounds right. I only ever saw him by the crossroads, never close. Good to know the log is still in the drawer; strange what stays.
